I’ve been coming here for some time now specifically since I discovered the precious chocolate mice that take three days to make by hand & have beautiful string tails. In the winter I would stop off for a cup of their hot chocolate. As a sort of warming station on my way to do more errands out in the city. Now that the weather has turned I’ve taken an appreciation for the view of ivy on stone from inside their antique seating section, their case of little treats. The passion fruit mousse cake or the burdick. I pair it with a cup of white tea, Mariage’s Blanc & Rose - which I ended up buying next door at P.O.S.H along with rouge bourbon. For under $15 this has been my new favorite little ritual & have made it my stop point before heading over to fight the tourists at Eataly so I can take home focaccia bread & hazelnut chocolates.
